1. Premium Multi-Foil Insulation

The remarkable energy efficiency of our roofs comes down to what’s inside them: the insulation.

Our roofs contain 125mm of HYBRIS, a premium insulation material made from polyethylene foams bonded to aluminium-coated polyethylene foils. It has an innovative honeycomb structure composed of low emissivity cavities, which are shielded from dust and excessive air movement. The cavities team up with low emissivity external films to provide even more thermal resistance. With a core declared thermal conductivity (λD) as low as 0.033 W/mK, HYBRIS provides a thermal resistance as high as 6.20 m²K/W – more than enough to keep your home cosy in the winter and cool in the summer.

2. Insulated Plasterboard

HYBRIS insulation is effective enough on its own, but it goes even further when paired with 53mm insulated plasterboard.

Installed beneath the insulation, the plasterboard boosts thermal efficiency while acting as a protective shield against moisture. It works hand in hand with the tile breather mesh to keep your conservatory or extension free from condensation build-up, so there’s no risk of damp or mould creeping in.

3. Naturally Insulated Timber

We make our roof frames from timber, one of the most naturally insulated materials on the planet.

Timber is made up of tiny, elongated cells that are packed closely together. These cells contain air pockets, which provide natural insulation. The air trapped within the wood’s cells acts as a barrier to heat transfer, reducing the flow of heat energy through the material and helping keep your conservatory or extension warmer.

Even better? We make sure to only use timber from sustainable sources and incorporate recycled materials in our production process. This helps us dramatically reduce waste that ends up in landfills, and results in your roof being as eco-friendly as it can be.
